About the Staff

Joe Reister

After working in the fixed operations for parts and service for the past 26 years, my wife, I and our business partners appreciate this opportunity. Our families grew up in the Basin like so many others and have watched other businesses sadly come and go. We are committed to this community and all it stands for. D&R has been locally owned and operated since 1960, striving to be the best parts source for your Automotive, Industrial and Agriculture needs. Our guests will be served by friendly, knowledgeable people that are dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

I was born and raised in Klamath Falls , graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1978. After that, I worked at Jeld-Wen of Oregon for 21 years, 17 of which were helping in maintenance and fabrication. I worked in construction for about 10 years following that for around 10 years, all over the Klamath area. I enjoy working on our personal vehicles and spending time tinkering in shop, which I have been doing since the age of 6. Also, I like to go camping, fishing, and spending time with my family.
